Alessandra Modi
Alessandra Modi is an experienced laboratory technician in applying Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) to ancient DNA studies, with a PhD in Ethology, Ecology, Anthropology and Biosystematics (curriculum Anthropology). In the team of the Laboratory of Anthropology at the University of Florence, she performs the analytical laboratory work for NGS and is involved in the development and optimization of molecular methods for the analysis of ancient DNA to reconstruct the evolution and history of past human populations.
