Kayode Afolabi
Dr. Kayode Olayinka Afolabi is a Lecturer and Researcher at the Department of Biological Sciences, Anchor University Lagos. . He is the pioneer of the Molecular Epidemiology and Public Health Research Group (MEPHREG). His doctoral and post-doctoral research has focused on molecular surveillance and characterisation of infectious agents, including viral, bacterial, protozoal, and fungal agents of importance in human and animal diseases. He is passionate about engaging in translational research that will complement efforts towards solving poverty and hunger problems and help maintain a healthy society.
