Olufemi Amoo
Olufemi Amoo is presently the Head of the Centre (HOC), Centre for Human Virology and Genomics (CHVG) and the Lead Scientist of Blood Genetics and Transfusion Research (BGTR) both at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, NIMR. He is an innovator and award-winning Research Scientist researching the immunogenetics of diseases. He conducts research on public health diseases with an interest in infectious diseases and reproductive health. Olufemi focuses on digital epidemiology, implementation research, host-pathogen interactions, carcinogen-DNA interactions, bioinformatics, and computational biology as a tool for early and efficient medical interventions.
