Commercial water purification system may have caused Mycobacterium infection in 4 hospitalized patients

A study of four cardiac surgery patients in one hospital found that they developed Mycobacterium abscessus infectionsa multidrug-resistant nontuberculous mycobacteria, potentially due to a commercial water purifier.
