Darren Reynolds

Darren Reynolds is a Professor in Health and Environment at the University of the West of England, Bristol and a leading researcher whose work bridges health, environmental science and technological innovation. His research has contributed to the development of practical solutions for challenges relating to water quality, agri-food systems and environmental monitoring. Through collaborations with industry partners and small-medium enterprises, he has helped translate laboratory-based discoveries into applied technologies. He is internationally recognised for pioneering fluorescence-based approaches to environmental characterisation, which have influenced the assessment of waste and surface waters.
